Ayisha Hooper Ayisha was introduced to NYT when she attended an independence day event in 2005 and was so impressed by the work and ethos of the trust that she became a volunteer.  In 2006 she was invited to become a trustee. Although she studied East European Studies at university, Ayisha has close links with Southern Africa as her family are from Malawi and she lived in Zimbabwe as a child. Ayisha and her Malawian family and friends feel strongly about giving back to the country  that they come from and they are active and enthusiastic supporters of NYT and support many other Malawian charities and initiatives. She enjoys organising fund raising events and has organised parties, gigs and fun runs.  She also fund raises by getting sponsorship for taking part in organised running events. e: ayisha@houseofgoodhealth.org.uk
